Red onions and purple grapes are the same color
robots are writing poems
and fires are growing the size
of countries on continents.

Oat milk doesn’t mix well into coffee
we are so far from the days of the iPhone 4
now we even do crosswords on our screens.

What we don’t talk about: sex and salaries
what we do talk about: the weather
and how we can’t believe it’s already mid-January!

People are living in the future on the other side of the world
I rub serum on my skin every day and still don’t know what for.

Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving
if we call it Almond Butter why not also call it Cow Butter
why do my dogs like to eat goose poop?

I wonder if more dog owners buy tennis balls than players,
or if we just find stray ones on courts and in garages.

how to make soap and cashew milk
